James has more than 20 years of user experience design, working with and for a variety of industry-leading companies, including Adobe, AOL, Intuit, and Yahoo!. His leadership experience includes overseeing the Adobe corporate website and Intuit TurboTax Online redesign efforts. Prior to Tangible, he spent 6 years as co-founder and principal of BranchLogic, Inc., developing, managing, and delivering a full range of web design services, including user research, information architecture, interaction design, graphical user interface design, usability testing, and site strategy, and employing a variety of user-centered design methodologies.
Before BranchLogic, James was the Creative Director for AltaVista’s New Media division, where he built a team of information architects, web designers, and HTML production artists. At AltaVista, James led the team that redesigned the architecture and developed the look and feel of the company’s Live site and all its channels. Before joining AltaVista, James spent eight years at Adobe Systems. In the last three years of his tenure, James art-directed and managed the design team for Adobe’s 18,000-page site.
