The Hunt

Tangible UX was brought in to help The Hunt explore concepts for creating and developing a reputation model and a contribution rewards system for it’s users. We worked closely with the product team to define and explore what aspects of social gestures they were interested in and what impact these have on the individual and the community at large.

We created a rich concept model of objects in the ecosystem and fleshed out gaps in the existing software to envision a robust and workable reputation system. Looking at the social objects in each use case we helped clarify a subset of features to modify and to add into the interface.

In the next phase of the project, we created user flows for specific new features including giving Gems, Favoriting Items, Hunts and People and leaving comments. We fleshed out detailed user flows and wireframed each screen showing different states and user types. Screens and flows were iterated upon based on client feedback.

We designed these into the mobile application design and in subsequent engagements we explored the interaction differences between iOS and Android Material design and fleshed out the different interactions. We finished out the work by fully realizing the new features we worked on in Android in a full visual skin in Android Material design and delivering designs and redline specs for development.
